# Archil Console

Archil is a distributed filesystem that mounts cloud object storage as a POSIX disk.
This console (https://console.archil.com) creates and manages Archil disks.

## Authentication

Authentication is handled by Clerk. The sign-in page is https://console.archil.com/welcome
(add ?mode=sign-in to skip straight to sign-in).

Supported strategies:
- Email + password
- GitHub OAuth (Clerk strategy: oauth_github)
- Google OAuth (Clerk strategy: oauth_google)
- AgentID (Clerk strategy: oauth_custom_agentid)

## AgentID

AgentID (https://www.agentid.com) is an OIDC identity provider for AI agents.
OIDC issuer: https://auth.agentid.com
Clerk strategy id: oauth_custom_agentid

AgentID is offered on both the sign-up and sign-in views of the page above.

Completing an AgentID sign-in requires a browser that executes JavaScript. AgentID's
approval step enrolls the browser (POST https://api.agentmail.to/v0/inboxes/{inbox_id}/authorize
with the auth_token from the AgentID wait page) and the browser activates the resulting
key; a fetch-only client cannot finish on its own.
